How It Works

Same-day appointments — your chauffeur waits. For a same-day appointment, your chauffeur drops you off and waits nearby until you’re done. The wait time is billed hourly in 15-minute increments. For overnight or multi-day hospital stays, we drop you off and come back on your scheduled return date.

Timed carefully around your appointment. Boston traffic is unpredictable, so we plan the trip around your appointment time and build in a comfortable buffer. Most patients ask us to arrive 30 to 60 minutes ahead so they can settle in without rushing.

Door-to-door. We pick you up at home and bring you to the hospital’s main patient entrance. No parking garages to walk through, no bags to carry through hospital lobbies.

Family welcome. A spouse, adult child, or companion rides at no additional charge. For procedures that need someone to bring you home afterward, we can be that person.

Quiet and calm. Our chauffeurs know how to read the day. If you want quiet, you get quiet. If you want conversation, you get conversation. We follow your lead.

Why Our Service Fits Medical Travel

A private chauffeured car service, not a medical van. Your vehicle is a black chauffeured sedan — either a Lexus LS 460 or a Lincoln MKS. Both are comfortable, quiet, and dignified — the same cars we use for executives, weddings, and airport pickups. Comfort matters more on a medical day than any other day.

We know the route. Maine to Boston is what we do. We run these trips year-round, in any weather. We know the timing, the routes, and which hospital entrance is which.

Transparent pricing. Hourly rate, billed in 15-minute increments. Your estimate is based on the time we expect the trip to take. No hidden fees, no fuel surcharges, no additional hidden charges.

How much does it cost?

Our rate is $60 per hour when paying by cash, or $65 per hour by credit card, plus a 20% gratuity. Time is billed in 15-minute increments, with a two-hour minimum. Billing is garage-to-garage — the standard for chauffeured service in Maine — so your trip is counted from when the vehicle leaves our garage in Maine, through your pickup and return, until it comes back. Because a trip to Boston covers the drive down and back, the best way to know your cost is to call or email us for an estimate on your specific appointment.

We provide private chauffeured transportation to medical appointments anywhere in Maine and anywhere in Massachusetts and beyond— including all of the major Boston and Greater Boston hospitals. Frequent destinations include Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, New England Baptist Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Many of our clients travel from Maine to Boston for specialized care and simply don’t have a way to get there — wherever your appointment is, we’ll take you. There’s no restriction on where we’ll go.

Wait time is billed hourly in 15-minute increments, so if your appointment runs over you simply pay for the additional time. No penalty, no rebooking issues.

Request an estimate online. Let us know your home address, the hospital, your appointment date and time, and how long the appointment is expected to take. We will confirm pricing and timing the same business day. Alternatively, you can call (207) 482-3778 during business hours (8 am to 4 pm).

We strongly recommend booking as soon as you have your appointment to ensure availability, especially during busy periods. If something comes up on shorter notice, contact us — we’ll accommodate same-day and last-minute requests whenever a vehicle is available.

You’ll travel in one of our comfortable, full-size luxury sedans — our Lexus LS 460 or Lincoln MKS. Please note that our vehicles are standard sedans without wheelchair lifts, so this service is best suited to clients who are able to get into and out of a car on their own or with a companion’s help. If you use a collapsible wheelchair, we’re glad to bring it along and stow it for you. If you’re unsure whether our service is the right fit, just call us and we’ll talk it through honestly before you book.

Yes. A spouse, family member, or companion is welcome to ride with you to and from your appointment at no additional charge. Just let us know when you book so we can plan accordingly.

For non-airport trips, we ask for at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled trip are charged the two-hour minimum.

This is private-pay service only — not Medicaid, not Medicare, not private insurance, not any third-party payment. You pay us directly, and we provide a clean itemized receipt for your records. If your FSA or HSA covers private medical transportation, you submit our receipt for reimbursement on your own.

All reservations require a credit card to book, regardless of how you plan to pay. When you pay in cash, you simply give it to your driver at the end of the trip. If you pay by credit card, you don’t have to worry about it — your card may be pre-authorized the day before or charged at some point after the trip
